1. Bowie Dick Test Pack consists of B-D test paper, laminated, laminated lamination, foam sheets, which are wrapped and packed by a crepe paper with a indicator label. The B-D test paper printed with steam sensitive indicator ink, it is placed near the center of the laminated material. During the sterilization process, the vapor can penetrate the laminate with good permeability to react with the indicator ink on the B-D test paper, then the B-D test paper color will change from yellow to black.

2. Under normal circumstances (the sterilizer operated at 132℃or 134℃for 3.5 min), the pattern of the B-D test paper will change to a uniform dark brown to black. If the cold air in the package is not completely removed, the cold air will affect the penetration of the steam, so that the center of the B-D test paper is formed differently from the surrounding light color area, thereby reflecting the sterilizer's elimination effect on the cold air.
